We need to build disability community power to win big things. That means:

  • Representative disability leadership, reflecting our values, is embedded everywhere. From government to media, and social movements to business, and entertainment to the disability community. 

     

  • Our rising and established leaders and organizations are well-resourced for growth and inclusion, and are responsive to the people they serve because they have ongoing, sustainable, community-centric funding from diverse sources.

  • Cross-movement solidarity where the principles of Disability Justice are embedded in every social justice movement, and all disability organizing and advocacy is grounded in, and working for, liberation for all — especially for those most negatively impacted by the state and institutions.

We don’t just need disabled leadership everywhere — we need to organize so we have disabled folks who reflect our values of seeking liberation for all disabled people.
