Disability justice, abolition, immigrant justice, and housing justice are one fight.

People belong in communities, not cages. We need to organize as one for community care, housing, and funding over cages, detention, and institutions.

We can’t cage our way out of problems: We need care, not cages; we need housing, not handcuffs.

No one should be caged for migration, disability, poverty, or survival.

We need deep funding for access and care and the abolition of all carceral systems, including institutionalized health care settings such as forced nursing home and psychiatric facilities, prisons and jails, immigrant detention centers, guardianships, and the family regulation system.

The U.S. government is pushing a eugenic agenda — disguised as a health movement — to kill and institutionalize disabled people and mass-disable and cage even more people they deem undesirable.

Folks impacted by increased policing and incarceration right now include people sleeping outside, disabled folks, Black and Indigenous communities, immigrant communities, people of color, and so many at the intersections of the above.
